Weekly recap: 12/13-12/21

Finally done with my first semester of my sophomore year in college. After our last exam my friend Cindy and I headed to Soho for lunch and shopping. We found a really cute french cafe on Spring St. which was only a few feet away from some great shopping. Afterwards, we headed to LF and had an amazing time trying on and being styled by the girls there. I ended up buying a pair of black lace up booties that I'm in love with. A few days later my friend Brianna and I walked over the Brooklyn Bridge. Once in Brooklyn we went to Williamsburg, and walked around, went to lunch and stopped at Monk, a vintage store. Once we were back in Manhattan we grabbed some ice cream at Amorino, an Italian dessert store where they make the prettiest flowers on ice cream cones! Winter Dressing

In between work, and getting ready for the holidays I was able to squeeze in a quick few minutes to shoot my first outfit post! Layering key pieces together is something I'm really into lately. I seem to stick to wearing mostly jeans or leggings in the winter, but investing in an opaque pair of thick tights is giving me a lot more options when it comes to winter dressing. I'm also really into fuzzy sweaters and cardigans lately. Super chic and gives a similar look that faux or real fur give. Topshop, H&M, and ASOS have an awesome selection of these. You can wear them with pretty much anything and they will look great!
